Field Operations Technician (IoT Hardware)

Location: Phoenix, Mesa, or Tempe, Arizona, United States; remote listing with daily field work and up to 50% travel

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year, plus overtime and stock options

What you will do

• Install, align, maintain, and repair camera systems, solar panels, batteries, mounting poles, and mobile trailers.
• Conduct site surveys with public safety partners and property owners, verifying traffic control plans and permit compliance.
• Prepare sites by digging post holes, mounting hardware, and aligning LPR and PTZ cameras.
• Diagnose field hardware, software connections, minor underground wiring, and irrigation disruptions.
• Document installations, service records, inventory, site photos, and equipment shipments through mobile applications.
• Operate service vehicles, trailers, ladders, bucket trucks, and lifts while following safety procedures.

Requirements

• Practical experience with low-voltage wiring, electrical assembly, construction, or technical field service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work independently outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Ability to drive service vans and trucks and tow small equipment trailers safely.
• Comfort working on rooftops, ladders, bucket trucks, and lifts at heights up to 30 feet.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Availability for field work Monday through Friday, occasional Saturdays, and travel of approximately 1–2 weeks per month, up to 50%.
