Supervisor, Training & Development (Fintech)

Location: San Diego, California, United States (hybrid); Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Salary: $96,100–$123,200 annually.

What you will do

• Plan, design, and deliver training and development programs using classroom, e-learning, workshops, demonstrations, and other learning methods.
• Develop learner-centric curricula, instructional resources, and innovative learning solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Assess organizational learning needs, evaluate course and instructor effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
• Lead cross-departmental projects, change management initiatives, and training product development from inception through implementation.
• Analyze operational and performance gaps, research trends, and present recommendations to leadership and business partners.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the training team while acting as Assistant Manager or Manager when required.

Requirements

• Significant experience designing and executing multifaceted training campaigns and managing presentation, publication, online publishing, and project-tracking initiatives.
• Experience leading large projects, managing multiple priorities, implementing strategic initiatives, and supervising or leading professional employees.
• Advanced knowledge of instructional theories, educational psychology, training-needs assessment, systems analysis, and design techniques.
• Advanced leadership, problem-solving, collaboration, critical-thinking, team-building, presentation, and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency with database, word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams and translating processes and requirements into clear documentation.
