Associate Director, Category Management, Pharma and Contract Packaging (Pharma)

Salary: $141,500–$268,500 per year

What you will do

• Implement procurement category strategies for third-party manufacturing, primary and secondary packaging, and drug products.
• Develop annual strategic plans, including spend analysis, cost breakdowns, and total cost of ownership assessments.
• Research markets, competitors, industry trends, and emerging technologies to support procurement decisions.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and drive savings, innovation, process optimization, risk mitigation, and sustainability.
• Support sourcing, bidding, contract negotiation, and contract execution with category suppliers.
• Partner with business and functional stakeholders to align procurement strategies with cost, quality, speed, risk, and business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, business, or operations.
• Experience managing procurement teams and leading supplier relationships.
• Expertise in category management, market analysis, cost engineering, and financial assessment.
• Experience with negotiation, bidding, complex projects, and change management.
• Strong Microsoft Office and Power Platform skills, with cross-functional collaboration and executive communication abilities.
