2027 Packaging Co-Op (Jan - June)

Location: North Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid attendance at the North Chicago campus at least three days per week

Salary: $21–$37.80 per hour

What you will do

• Develop and test packaging for new projects.
• Create test protocols and execute testing activities.
• Identify, select, and specify packaging materials.
• Analyze data to identify standardization opportunities.
• Support sustainability and packaging improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate and perform independent and team experiments in laboratories and manufacturing plants.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a university bachelor's program in Packaging or a related field.
• Must return to university during the semester following the co-op.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2029.
• Strong problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong academic performance and demonstrated teamwork, adaptability, initiative, innovation, integrity, leadership, and project management skills.
