Engineering & IT Co-Op (Spring 2027) (Manufacturing)

Location: Northwood, Ohio, United States. The position is primarily onsite, with hybrid opportunities potentially available based on role requirements, performance, and business needs. The co-op runs from January–July or June–December, approximately 40 hours per week, with occasional hands-on work in sample shop environments and minimal travel.

What you will do

• Support departmental operations, technology initiatives, projects, and business activities.
• Assist with troubleshooting, hardware and software setup, and system maintenance.
• Collect, analyze, and report data for business decisions and process improvements.
• Create documentation, training materials, reports, and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and research industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Complete and present a capstone project with findings, recommendations, challenges, and results to leadership.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering technology, systems engineering, data analytics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Remain enrolled as a student throughout the co-op period.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Demonstrate strong communication, organization, time management, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Work effectively both independently and collaboratively while adapting to changing priorities.

Nice to have

• Previous internship, co-op, work, leadership, volunteer, or project experience.
• Experience or coursework with relevant software, tools, or systems.
