Packaging Engineering Co-op (June - August 2027)

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite

What you will do

• Build relationships with platform and functional partners to support new product launches and continuous improvement.
• Conduct and manage packaging testing, trials, and analyses to validate packaging opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop packaging solutions balancing cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Document work through test reports, cost analyses, and 2D/3D CAD concepts.
• Develop technical knowledge of packaging materials and applications.
• Lead multiple projects while applying engineering principles and statistics to make data-driven decisions.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Packaging, Packaging Engineering, Packaging Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Junior or senior standing preferred, with graduation between May 2028 and June 2029.
• CAD experience.
• Current work authorization and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.

Nice to have

• Packaging design or engineering experience with industrial products or applications.
• Design for Manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of ASTM or ISTA test standards and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and time and task management skills.
