Lab Technician (Packaging)

What you will do

• Perform routine and complex testing to evaluate container integrity, product interactions, and shelf life.
• Use microscopes and conduct destructive and non-destructive tests.
• Support R&D projects, quality confirmations, and investigations of corrosion, discoloration, flavor issues, and spoilage.
• Collect, interpret, and report laboratory data accurately.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, order supplies, and keep the work environment safe and clean.
• Assist with training, provide backup support, participate in facility tours, and travel as needed for training and business activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science, laboratory science, or a related field; new graduates are welcome.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work seated or standing for extended periods.
• Comfort with repetitive motions, chemical and solvent exposure, and occasional high-noise or biohazard environments.
