Member Team Lead

Location: Onsite in Temple, Texas, United States

Salary: $21.00–$29.00 per hour, plus possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Supervise associates by assigning duties, communicating goals, providing feedback, and coaching on processes and member service.
• Support membership sales by explaining membership types, programs, benefits, upgrades, credit accounts, and renewals.
• Resolve member needs by assisting with purchasing decisions, merchandise location, transactions, self-service technology, and club pickup orders.
• Oversee front-end and sales-floor operations, including claims, returns, zoning, merchandise availability, shrink, damages, carts, and parking lot cleanliness.
• Complete accounting activities such as deposits, cash fund transfers, register investigations, financial records, and confidentiality of financial information.
• Implement business processes, support compliance and ethics standards, and lead teams through changing priorities.

Requirements

• 6 months of retail experience, including operating front-end equipment such as a cash register.
• 6 months of customer service experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners.
• Ability to support company policies, ethics, integrity, and member service standards.

Nice to have

• Experience leading a front-end team.
• Supervisory experience involving hiring, evaluation, mentoring, development, and workload management.
