EH&S Manager

Location: On-site at the manufacturing site in Wantage, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom

Salary: From £60,000 per annum

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and manage site-wide environmental, health, and safety strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with environmental permits, health and safety legislation, internal standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and lead initiatives to mitigate identified risks.
• Investigate EH&S incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Deliver EH&S training, safety campaigns, toolbox talks, audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain ISO 14001 and IATF accreditations and collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and corporate EH&S teams.

Requirements

• Experienced leadership in environmental, health, and safety programs.
• Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Strong leadership, influencing, communication, and training delivery skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Ability to work on-site at the Wantage, Oxfordshire manufacturing site.
