Location: Must reside within a commutable distance of Bath, Leeds, or Manchester, United Kingdom; hybrid role with travel of up to 30% across the EMEA region.

What you will do
- Lead implementation of the global HSE strategy across the EMEA region and partner with regional business leaders.
- Oversee critical risks and controls, strengthening risk-based decision-making and HSE accountability.
- Provide expert guidance on occupational safety, process safety, environmental protection, investigations, regulations, and stakeholder engagement.
- Implement global standards and support compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 requirements.
- Conduct regional audits, assurance activities, inspections, reporting, and performance monitoring.
- Facilitate best-practice sharing, coaching, mentoring, and continuous improvement across regional teams.
Requirements
- Experience leading operational or field-service operations in high-hazard or critical-risk industries such as engineering, manufacturing, energy, oil and gas, power generation, chemicals, or construction.
- Strong knowledge of occupational safety, process safety, critical risk management, and critical-control implementation and assurance.
- HSE experience developed from the ground up, supported by relevant HSE or engineering education.
- Recognised health and safety qualification, such as a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience implementing and improving ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems, including audits and assurance.
- Experience with incident investigations, root cause analysis, HSE reporting systems, performance data, and digital tools.
