Havering Works Team Leader

What you will do

• Lead and supervise four Employment Specialists supporting residents facing barriers to securing and remaining in work.
• Oversee delivery of the Connect to Work programme against Individual Placement and Support and Supported Employment Quality Framework standards.
• Provide reflective supervision, performance management, coaching, feedback, and development support.
• Monitor client support, maintain accurate records, and ensure evidence meets grant-funded programme requirements.
• Build relationships with clinical teams, Jobcentre Plus, and other partners to support service integration.
• Manage competing priorities and help staff navigate challenges in complex health, employment, and social care systems.

Requirements

• Experience supervising staff and providing leadership, coaching, feedback, and performance management.
• Understanding of employment support programmes and commitment to person-centred practice.
• Ability to uphold and embed Individual Placement and Support principles within the Connect to Work context.
• Strong problem-solving, organisation, record-keeping, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience working with clinical, employment, social care, or other complex systems.
• Ability to work in the hybrid role based in Harold Hill and Romford, United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Understanding of fidelity reviews and fidelity assurance processes.
• Experience preparing for Individual Placement and Support fidelity reviews.
