Project Manager (Commercial Electrical Construction - Onsite in Sacramento)

Location: Onsite in Sacramento, California, USA; not remote or hybrid

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 annually, depending on experience

What you will do

• Lead multiple electrical construction and engineering projects from pre-construction through completion and closeout.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, deliverables, and risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate clients, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, field teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, costs, forecasts, billings, profitability, contracts, and collections.
• Evaluate, negotiate, document, and incorporate change orders into project plans and financial records.
• Maintain project documentation and compliance with electrical codes, regulations, specifications, and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 8 years of experience in electrical construction project management, preferably with large-scale and complex projects.
• Knowledge of electrical construction methodologies, applicable codes, regulations, specifications, and industry best practices.
• Experience leading, developing, and motivating project teams, including field foremen and support staff.
• Strong communication, negotiation, contract management, budgeting, cost control, forecasting, profitability analysis, and change order management skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
