Assistant Project Manager (Limited Energy)

What you will do

• Support project handoff, pre-planning, scheduling, labor coordination, and execution for limited-energy and low-voltage construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, estimates, proposals, takeoffs, bills of materials, and scopes of work.
• Coordinate with project managers, field leadership, customers, general contractors, engineers, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Track budgets, costs, forecasts, billing, project reporting, risks, change orders, RFIs, permits, procurement, and material deliveries.
• Conduct job site visits, monitor progress, and help resolve safety, quality, technical, material, and resource issues.
• Support testing, commissioning, end-user training, closeout documentation, warranties, as-built information, and final project turnover.

Requirements

• Two-year degree in electrical construction, construction management, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least two years of related experience in electrical construction, limited energy, low-voltage systems, construction coordination, or project administration is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical and limited-energy materials, methods, systems, tools, and the National Electrical Code.
• Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications, contract documents, and project scopes.
• Understanding of project planning, scheduling, labor coordination, procurement, budgeting, and documentation.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word; experience with Microsoft Project, CAD, or construction/project-management software is preferred.
