What you will do

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for critical laboratory spend, including sequencing equipment, consumables, and service contracts.
• Establish laboratory procurement standards across multiple sites and lead high-value RFx processes and contract negotiations.
• Negotiate commercial terms, reduce supply chain risk, and ensure service-level agreements meet business needs.
• Introduce AI-driven tools to automate routine procurement tasks, improve spend visibility, and predict market trends.
• Partner with laboratory leaders, legal, finance, and other stakeholders on strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Define and achieve cost savings and cost avoidance targets while reducing total cost of ownership.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of procurement experience, with a focus on laboratory categories.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field, including applicable life science fields.
• Experience with modern ERP and procurement platforms such as NetSuite, Coupa, or Zip.
• Exceptional negotiation capabilities, executive presence, and the ability to influence without authority.
• Prior procurement experience in a high-growth technology or healthcare environment is strongly preferred.

• Experience implementing or using AI tools in a professional setting.
