Finance Sr. Manager (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Salary: $128,740.15–$174,177.85 annually

What you will do

• Develop COGM budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans for North Carolina drug substance operations.
• Partner with supply chain, manufacturing, accounting, and procurement teams to validate operational and financial planning assumptions.
• Maintain multi-plant site allocation models and apply standard costing methodologies.
• Analyze actual results against forecasts and plans, providing variance analysis and performance insights to senior leadership.
• Build scenario models for new product introductions, technology transfers, production plans, capital investments, and productivity initiatives.
• Use advanced analytics, automation, and process improvement to increase planning accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• Doctorate with 2 years, master's degree with 4 years, bachelor's degree with 6 years, associate's degree with 10 years, or high school diploma/GED with 12 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Experience with financial planning and analysis, accounting, compliance, and COGM planning in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of standard costing, capital planning, SAP month-end closing, and production-related activities.
• Experience with SAP or another large ERP and consolidation system; Hyperion experience is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analytics, visualization, or dashboards such as Tableau, Power BI, Smartsheet, or Alteryx.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder-influence skills.
