Salary: $109,500–$208,500 per year

What you will do

• Identify strategic opportunities to optimize cloud costs, usage, and business value across multiple business units.
• Analyze cloud operations, consumption, spend trends, and business processes through a FinOps lens.
• Partner with Finance, Cloud, Technology, engineers, and architects on budgeting, forecasting, chargeback/showback, cost allocation, and spend transparency.
• Evaluate alternative solutions and create dashboards, visuals, and executive-level recommendations.
• Maintain cloud spend data and forecasts, improve FinOps processes, and support technical implementation decisions.
• Communicate cloud spend outcomes, risks, and opportunities across technical and business stakeholder groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience, master’s degree with 6 years, or PhD with 2 years in Finance, Economics, or Information Technology.
• Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, allocation, optimization, data analytics, and statistical analytics.
• Understanding of cloud services, consumption models, and financial drivers influencing cloud spend across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into business recommendations, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Strong communication, facilitation, independent problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with Jira, MS Excel, Power BI, or SAP R2R.

Nice to have

• FinOps certification or demonstrated experience in FinOps, cloud financial management, or cloud economics.
• Cloud cost management experience.
