Finance Process Improvement Manager (SAP)

Location: Northfield, Illinois, United States

Salary: $101,000–$152,000 annually, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Identify, prioritize, and measure finance process simplification opportunities across the enterprise.
• Analyze, document, redesign, and optimize Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record-to-Report, and Plan to Perform processes.
• Gather requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver improved, automated process solutions.
• Lead improvement projects from charter through execution, managing stakeholders, communication plans, quality, and timelines.
• Support SAP upgrade and digital transformation initiatives while driving adoption of new processes.
• Promote continuous improvement and coordinate the day-to-day outcomes of matrixed team members.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in finance, process improvement, or a related field.
• High school diploma required; a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or data science is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with project management tools and leading cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• In-depth understanding of financial operations and regulations.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP, data analytics, automation, process mapping, process mining, and workflow tools.
• CPA, PMP, or Six Sigma certification.
• Experience in management consulting, a Big Four Finance Transformation practice, or a large multinational manufacturing or distribution company.
• Experience with indirect team management, change management, stakeholder engagement, communication, and training.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
