What you will do

• Proofread title documents submitted for recording for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with technical and legal requirements.
• Accept or reject documents based on applicable recording standards.
• Make final decisions about the adequacy of documents submitted for recording.
• Respond to inquiries about pending recordings.
• Follow technical memos, title policies, recording practices, and other information affecting title commitments.
• May deliver documents to courthouses.

Requirements

• 1+ year of administrative, processing, or related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly adapt to new software applications and technologies.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
