Dragline Operator (Mining)

Location: Capcoal - Lake Lindsay Mine, Middlemount, Queensland, Australia. DIDO, residential, and salary-sacrifice FIFO options are available, with BIBO transport from the Mackay and Rockhampton areas.

hirify.global operates steelmaking coal mines in Queensland’s Bowen Basin and develops projects involving manganese and copper.

What you will do

• Safely and professionally operate 8050 and 8750 draglines.
• Apply dragline setup, operating, and dig-pattern knowledge to optimize machine performance.
• Operate supporting equipment, including dozers, graders, and cable reelers.
• Follow Anglo American safety and operating systems.
• Work collaboratively with the Dragline Supervisor and site team to achieve operational targets.

Requirements

• At least 12 months of competent dragline operating experience.
• Proficient dozer operation skills.
• Ability to provide proof of operating experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work a 7-on, 7-off rotating day and night roster.
