Coal Sampler

Location: Mayfield West, NSW, Australia; onsite work with client-site sample collection

What you will do

• Collect coal samples from client sites and deliver samples to internal and external customers.
• Conduct physical testing and basic analysis, including crushing, weighing, drying, milling, and sieving.
• Record, sort, prepare, and store samples according to operational requirements.
• Maintain testing equipment and complete routine laboratory and site activities.
• Follow analytical methods, SGS quality systems, and onsite health, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain a high pace of manual work throughout the shift.
• Flexible availability for day, afternoon, and night shifts on weekdays or weekends.
• Ability to regularly handle samples weighing 15 kg or more.
• Previous coal sampling and testing experience is advantageous.
