Sustainability Advisor (Steel)

What you will do

• Act as a point of contact for sustainability enquiries, product credentials, and decarbonisation initiatives.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Innovation, Product Stewardship, and Marketing teams to maintain sustainability data and documentation.
• Manage sustainability claims governance and support credible, evidence-based environmental claims.
• Maintain and develop Life Cycle Inventories, Life Cycle Assessments, Environmental Product Declarations, ecolabel certifications, and sustainability frameworks.
• Research sustainability risks, opportunities, industry trends, and future product value propositions.
• Develop technical content and resources and represent hirify.global at industry forums, conferences, and professional networks.

Requirements

• Approximately 3–5 years of experience in sustainability, environmental consulting, the built environment, building products, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with or exposure to LCA methodologies, EPDs, and ecolabels.
• Experience with rating tools such as NABERS, Green Star, or IS Rating.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret technical data.
• Effective stakeholder engagement, project coordination, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Initiative, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning.
