What you will do

• Conduct physical coal testing and analysis, including crushing, weighing, drying, milling, and sieving.
• Collect samples from client mine-site washeries.
• Record, sort, store, and deliver samples to internal and external customers.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and follow analytical methods, SGS quality systems, and onsite HSE standards.
• Work across day, afternoon, and night shifts on weekdays or weekends as required.

Requirements

• Unrestricted driver's licence and reliable transport are mandatory.
• Ability to perform significant manual handling of samples weighing up to 15+ kg throughout the shift.
• Ability to work flexibly across various shifts and rosters and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Previous coal sampling and testing experience is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Forklift licence and high-risk work ticket.
