Business Operations Analyst (Amazon Sales)

Location: Northfield, Illinois, United States

Salary: $67,000–$101,000 annually, with bonus and/or incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Support the Amazon Sales function through forecasting, inventory planning, reporting, and business analysis.
• Develop business, financial, sales, inventory, and operational reports for product managers, sales teams, and customers.
• Build and analyze scorecards covering sales, inventory, profitability, forecast accuracy, shortages, chargebacks, and vendor compliance.
• Partner with Sales, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, and Finance to monitor inventory health, improve in-stock performance, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Analyze replenishment, promotional performance, customer investments, profitability drivers, and business risks.
• Monitor data accuracy, timeliness, and integrity, and ensure reporting outcomes are reviewed and implemented.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, retail, omnichannel, or consumer products analytics.
• Experience with forecasting, inventory planning, sales reporting, and business performance analysis.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Experience with retailer reporting platforms and business intelligence tools; Amazon Vendor Central, Vendor Retail Analytics, CommerceIQ, or Stackline experience is preferred.
