IT Project Manager

Location: Richmond, Virginia, for Virginia residents; hybrid schedule with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday and core hours targeting 9am–5pm EST

Salary: $84,400–$127,000 annually, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus incentive plan

What you will do

• Manage complex cross-functional IT projects using PMI, Agile/Lean, SDLC, and other established methodologies.
• Lead project teams through research, analysis, business opportunity assessment, and formal recommendations.
• Manage project scope, schedules, costs, risks, quality, communications, resources, and suppliers.
• Integrate plans and coordinate execution across multiple workstreams and sub-projects.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and validate assumptions with stakeholders, resource managers, and process owners.
• Prepare written and oral project updates for senior management and business leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of IT project management experience.
• Experience developing strategic relationships and leading customer-focused projects across organizational boundaries.
• Strong planning, organizational, execution, communication, presentation, analytical, and business problem-solving skills.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and developing project business scope with business stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities while meeting or exceeding objectives.
