Supply Chain Inventory Management Senior Specialist (SAP/EWM)

Location: Irwindale, California, US; on-site at an SCE facility or field location. The position requires up to 25% travel throughout the SCE service territory. Relocation does not apply.

Salary: $101,900–$152,800 per year

What you will do

• Monitor and report on material supply, transportation, discrepancies, field laydown yards, and operational performance.
• Coordinate with supply chain, procurement, and suppliers on material planning, prioritization, sourcing, and expediting.
• Maintain data integrity and reporting for inventory, material movement, handling efficiency, stock levels, losses, and safety performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop initiatives that improve warehouse and supply chain operations while reducing costs.
• Provide data- and cost-based recommendations to management, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Establish and improve supplier performance goals and relationships.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in supply chain sourcing, supplier relationship management, and process optimization.
• Experience in supply chain, inventory management, or a related analytical role, including forecasting, demand variability analysis, and supply chain risk identification.
• Experience developing inventory stocking strategies such as safety stock, min/max levels, and service levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
• Experience with SAP, EWM, or similar ERP systems and with MRP parameters such as safety stock, reorder points, lot sizing, and lead times.
• Experience collaborating across field operations, planning, procurement, suppliers, and other stakeholders in complex supply chain environments.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Production & Inventory Control, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in utility, manufacturing, or similarly complex supply chain environments.
• Experience applying structured problem-solving or project management methodologies.
• Experience managing multiple assignments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
