Contract Executive Recruiter (Healthcare)

Location: New York office, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are required in-office days, while the other two office days are flexible.

Salary: $65–$85 per hour.

What you will do

• Own and execute full life-cycle executive searches across designated functional areas.
• Develop sourcing and recruiting strategies, conduct research, and present qualified executive candidates.
• Generate, engage, develop, and initially assess prospects through pitch calls.
• Calibrate candidates with hiring managers and participate in client update meetings and search reporting.
• Conduct on-site interviews, participate in debriefs, complete reference checks, and negotiate complex executive compensation packages.
• Support the Senior Director of Executive Recruiting on active searches.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in executive recruiting.
• 3+ years leading VP-level or higher searches.
• At least 1 year of project management experience.
• At least 1 year of experience building and executing staffing project strategies.
• At least 1 year of experience using data insights to advise hiring leaders and influence business decisions.
• Ability to work from the New York office 3 days per week, including Thursdays.

Nice to have

• Experience in both agency and in-house recruiting.
• Startup or healthcare recruiting experience.
• Experience building workforce forecasts.
