Salary: $72,200–$120,300 annual (USD)

What you will do

• Manage branch operations, profitability, sales performance, customer experience, digital engagement, and transactions.
• Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate branch staff, including hiring, performance management, promotions, and terminations.
• Identify retail and business banking needs and grow customer relationships through proactive outreach and community presence.
• Process business banking loan requests up to $250,000 and recommend bundled products and services.
• Resolve complex account servicing and customer issues while improving future resolution and escalation processes.
• Maintain compliance, security, fraud prevention, audit, regulatory, and internal control standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and two years of managerial experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong knowledge of business banking products, services, and client relationship management.
• Ability to maintain SAFE Act registration requirements and meet applicable insurance licensing expectations.
• M&T Way Certification, Precision Leadership Certification, and completion of the M&T Business Banking Specialist requirements within the specified timelines.
• Proficiency with common PC software, including Microsoft Office; strong communication, organization, and customer service coaching skills.

Nice to have

• Bilingual Spanish communication skills.
• Sales and business development success with a fundamental understanding of profitability.
• Strong financial services product knowledge and experience with internet and email.
