Cloud Migration Product Owner (Cloud Migration)

Location: Remote, with locations in Lexington, Massachusetts; Bethesda, Maryland; McLean, Virginia; and Washington, District of Columbia, USA. Remote work may occasionally require work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.

Salary: $69,300–$158,000 annualized USD

What you will do

• Work with clients to understand mission requirements, goals, and migration timelines.
• Guide the modernization and migration of critical systems to the cloud.
• Develop Agile project roadmaps, establish milestones, and track progress with delivery metrics.
• Create and manage product backlogs, including epics, user stories, tasks, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done.
• Lead sprint ceremonies and support Agile application development teams.
• Test new capabilities and communicate with customers, team members, and leadership.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading or working with Agile teams in a technical or engineering environment.
• Experience with Agile application development teams across the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with GitLab or Jira and with managing epics, user stories, tasks, and backlogs.
• Knowledge of Scrum or SAFe and their application to software development.
• Bachelor’s degree and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Ability to lead development teams and communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP.
• Knowledge of cloud migration strategies.
• Agile or cloud foundational certifications.
• Existing Secret clearance and strong communication and organizational skills.
