Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager

Location: United States (Remote)

Salary: $113,000–$140,000 base compensation per year, plus Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

What you will do

• Prepare and review financial statements, supporting workpapers, disclosure checklists, and audit materials.
• Own quarterly and annual financial reporting controls and ensure complete supporting evidence.
• Review complex accounting areas, including commissions, throughout month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Research complex and non-recurring transactions under U.S. GAAP and draft documented technical accounting memos.
• Evaluate new accounting standards and maintain accounting policies as the business evolves.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve close-process issues and communicate accounting and equity matters.

Requirements

• Big 4 experience or a similar technical accounting advisory background.
• CPA certification or equivalent qualification.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, including ASC 230, ASC 260, ASC 350, ASC 606, ASC 718, and ASC 805.
• Experience researching FASB Accounting Standards Codification and Big 4 interpretive guidance.
• Experience supporting financial reporting controls and external audits.
• Strong technical, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workiva, NetSuite, Xactly, or similar commissions tools.
• Experience applying process automation or data analytics in technical accounting or financial reporting.
