Senior Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Hybrid; in-office collaboration is expected 10+ days per month. Positions based in California have the stated salary range.

Salary: $172,000–$215,000 annual base salary for California-based positions, excluding equity, bonuses, and commissions.

What you will do

• Lead data science for product or business areas including Payments, Stablecoin, and Custody.
• Partner with product and business leaders on roadmap prioritization, success criteria, and measurement.
• Build product and network health metrics, causal inference frameworks, forecasting models, and reusable analytical tooling.
• Apply LLMs and agentic workflows to accelerate insight generation, automate routine analysis, and make data more self-serve.
• Evaluate growth across customers, payment corridors, and on-chain activity, identifying causal drivers of adoption and volume.
• Define and communicate metrics while mentoring data scientists and translating complex analyses for senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data science or quantitative analysis with measurable impact on product and business decisions.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional product and business teams and influencing roadmaps.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted analytics, agentic analysis, or natural-language data interfaces.
• Strong expertise in experimentation, causal inference, forecasting, and statistical modeling.
• Expertise in Python or R, fluency in SQL, and experience with large-scale data technologies such as Databricks.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical analysis into clear narratives for senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with fintech, payments, crypto, or blockchain data.
• Advanced degree such as an MS or PhD in a quantitative field.
