Senior Data Science Manager (Crypto)

Location: Menlo Park, California office; in-person attendance is expected at least 5 days per week.

Base pay: $247,000–$290,000 USD in Zone 1; $217,000–$255,000 USD in Zone 2; $193,000–$226,000 USD in Zone 3, plus bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and scale data scientists and analytics engineers across product and ML domains.
• Partner with Crypto product, engineering, finance, and research teams on international expansion, pro trader growth, and Wallet app adoption.
• Deliver data-driven recommendations and analyses that shape product direction.
• Analyze opportunities involving stock tokens, perpetuals, and blockchain products.
• Build a culture of excellence in analytics, experimentation, and measurable impact.
• Represent Crypto Data Science in leadership forums and contribute to Crypto organization strategy.

Requirements

• 7+ years of data science experience, including at least 2+ years of people management.
• Deep experience with Python and SQL in a production or analytics environment.
• Proven success in product data science, delivering strategic insights and scalable solutions.
• Strong understanding of the crypto ecosystem; 3–4 years of direct experience is highly preferred.
• Executive presence, cross-functional influence, and outstanding communication skills.
• Ability to work in person from the Menlo Park office at least 5 days per week.
