Senior Data Scientist (AI, People Analytics)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $136,400–$225,000 annually in Colorado; $136,400–$248,600 annually in Washington; $136,400–$272,500 annually in California; $150,800–$272,500 annually in NYC. Annual bonus eligibility may apply.

What you will do

• Design and deploy machine learning, predictive modeling, NLP, sentiment analysis, and generative AI solutions for workforce analytics.
• Lead analytics for employee listening programs, including engagement surveys, pulse checks, lifecycle touchpoints, and continuous feedback channels.
• Build text analytics models to identify themes, sentiment trends, and early attrition signals in employee feedback.
• Integrate HRIS, performance, survey, qualitative, and collaboration data into a holistic employee experience view.
• Apply experimental design, causal inference, and quasi-experimental methods to evaluate people programs.
• Partner with senior People, Finance, and business leaders to communicate insights and support data-driven decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years applying advanced analytics methods to people or business decisions.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with R is a plus.
• Experience building, validating, and iterating on statistical or machine learning models using large, complex datasets.
• Experience with employee listening platforms such as Qualtrics, Glint, Culture Amp, or Medallia.
• Demonstrated use of NLP, text analytics, sentiment analysis, LLMs, or generative AI for real-world analytics problems.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with R.
• Experience influencing senior, non-technical stakeholders and translating analytical complexity into clear recommendations.
