Enterprise Commercial Counsel (AI)

Location: Full-time on-site in Palo Alto, Los Angeles, Austin, or New York, United States; in-office five days per week.

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 USD per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex technology agreements and high-value enterprise customer contracts.
• Support strategic partnerships, hyperscaler agreements, technology transactions, and vendor agreements.
• Partner with sales, business development, finance, product, technical, and legal teams on commercial legal strategy.
• Design legal structures and operations that enable AI product sales while mitigating risk.
• Use AI products daily to accelerate legal learning and productivity, while supporting broader legal department needs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of legal experience, ideally combining top-tier law firm and in-house technology company experience.
• Extensive transaction negotiation experience; intellectual property and technology transactions experience is valuable.
• Practical, commercially driven risk assessment and strong judgment in complex, ambiguous situations.
• JD and a license to practice law in California or New York, or eligibility to register as in-house counsel.
• Eligibility under U.S. ITAR requirements: U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain required authorizations.
• Commitment to working in the office five days per week.
