Data Center Manager

Location: 100% onsite in Quincy, Washington, United States. The role operates in a 24/7 environment with on-call rotations and after-hours support.

Salary: $95,000–$105,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead data center technicians in server maintenance, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and daily operations.
• Develop and implement operational best practices to improve efficiency, uptime, reliability, and scalability.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on client projects and service delivery.
• Inspect and audit data center equipment and resolve technical issues and emergencies with minimal downtime.
• Train and mentor junior technicians while supporting strategic infrastructure initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data center operations experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of servers, computer hardware, networking equipment, cooling systems, and data center management tools.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing hardware and diagnosing critical network issues.
• Proficiency with Linux and experience with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS, plus strong communication, organization, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, lift up to 50 lbs, work at elevated locations, and support 24/7 operations. Applicants must meet applicable U.S. export-control access requirements.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• CompTIA Server+, Network+, or equivalent certification.
