Location: On-site in Annapolis Junction, Maryland; United States Citizenship and an appropriate security clearance are required.

Salary: $75.67–$102.47 per hour

What you will do

• Monitor system health and performance across cloud-based environments.
• Troubleshoot system, network, data-flow, alerts, and outage issues in real time.
• Support and maintain large-scale Hadoop and Accumulo clusters, storage systems, and data integrity.
• Administer Linux systems, user accounts, access controls, patching, upgrades, and configuration management.
• Develop and maintain Bash and Python scripts while ensuring security requirements are met.
• Collaborate with hardware, network, infrastructure, and engineering teams and provide after-hours on-call support.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with agency-appropriate polygraph and United States Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline plus at least 3 years of software development or engineering experience; alternatively, a master’s degree plus 1 year or 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with requirements analysis, software development, installation, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, or problem diagnosis and resolution.
• Linux systems administration with Red Hat, CentOS, or similar systems.
• Experience with Hadoop, Accumulo, or large distributed systems; Bash and/or Python scripting; and Puppet or similar configuration-management tools.
• 8570 IAT Level I or higher, preferably Security+.

• AWS Certified Developer – Associate.
• AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional.
• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
