Field CTO (Public Sector)

Location: Remote, United States; living in the Washington, D.C. Metro area is preferred.

What you will do

• Advise public sector customers and prospects on DevSecOps strategy, security, compliance, modernization, and secure software delivery during the pre-sales process.
• Deliver executive-level technical thought leadership and build relationships with CISOs, CSOs, CTOs, chief security architects, and other senior stakeholders.
• Educate customers on the value of the hirify.global platform and support conversations that enable successful deployment.
• Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams on public sector content, media engagement, sales strategy, enablement, and reusable technical materials.
• Participate in government working groups, standards discussions, demonstrations, requests for information, and public-private partnership opportunities.
• Communicate field feedback and customer priorities to help shape product and go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

• Expertise in DevSecOps strategy, application security, and compliance for regulated environments, including risk-based guidance.
• Experience selling to, supporting, or working within the public sector.
• Experience independently creating and delivering technical thought leadership through presentations, demonstrations, and written materials.
• Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle, CI/CD, modern engineering and operations practices, cloud computing, and modern platform architectures.
• Experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, solutions architecture, or comparable customer-facing IT roles, including using hirify.global or willingness to learn it quickly.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with executives and engineers; comfort working remotely, asynchronously, and across time zones.
