Senior Manager, Operations (Manufacturing)

Location: Buffalo Grove, Illinois, United States; hybrid work flexibility is available.

Salary: $138,800–$208,200 annual, plus a target annual cash incentive of 15% of base pay.

What you will do

• Manage a large operational unit or multiple facilities through subordinate managers.
• Set budgets, control expenses, and recommend labor and capital expenditures.
• Establish facility standards, work practices, KPIs, performance requirements, and quality expectations.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and promote collaboration across facilities and peer groups.
• Ensure facility health and safety while optimizing human, financial, and physical resources.
• Lead complex projects, resolve sensitive operational problems, and coordinate internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience, including at least 2 years as a team supervisor or manager.
• Advanced delegation and follow-up skills.
• Strong leadership, management, verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma processes.
• Ability to work in or support operations at the Buffalo Grove, Illinois facility.
