Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Location: Frisco, Texas, United States; onsite at a health center. Scheduled hours are Monday–Friday, 6:30am–6:00pm, and Saturday, 7:30am–12:00pm.

What you will do

• Provide direct patient care and collaborate with healthcare providers within the scope of practice.
• Administer medications, perform wound care, observe treatment reactions, and collect urine, blood, and sputum specimens according to provider orders.
• Maintain medical equipment and a clean, safe environment while following infection control procedures.
• Maintain accurate and current patient health records.

Requirements

• Graduate of a National League for Nursing-accredited program, with an associate degree or equivalent education from a two-year college or technical school.
• Current license as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider.
• At least three years of clinical experience as an LPN/LVN in ambulatory care, occupational health, or an emergency department.
