Nurse Practitioner (Occupational Health)

What you will do

• Provide in-person and virtual primary care focused on prevention, wellness, and continuity.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, develop care plans, prescribe medications, and manage diagnostic testing.
• Perform DOT physicals, workplace injury evaluations, return-to-work assessments, and regulatory medical examinations.
• Educate patients on wellness, prevention, and lifestyle management.
• Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and other members of the care team.
• Support the healthcare and workplace safety needs of employees served through the Healthy for Life Clinic.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Rhode Island FNP license and current FNP board certification.
• Active DEA registration and current NRCME certification.
• Previous occupational health experience required, including DOT physicals, occupational injury management, and return-to-work evaluations.
• Two or more years of primary care experience preferred.
• Experience treating patients aged 2 and older.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, patient confidentiality, and the ability to meet hirify.global and client credentialing requirements.
