What you will do

• Assess patients, review medical and psychosocial information, document interventions, and report findings to providers.
• Administer medications, blood products, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy under physician supervision.
• Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, maintain central lines, and program portable infusion pumps.
• Educate patients and caregivers, provide psychosocial support, and coordinate treatment, referrals, diagnostics, and follow-up appointments.
• Triage patient calls, manage medication refill requests, maintain patient flow, and support communication across the interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with clinical research, support LPNs/LVNs and medical assistants, and provide coverage for satellite offices as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license and registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support certification and completion of continuing education requirements.
• 2–5 years of nursing experience, including at least one year in oncology preferred.
• Ability to work in an oncology and hematology clinic environment with potential exposure to communicable diseases, cytotoxic substances, and ionizing radiation.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
