Coating Operator (Adhesives)

Location: Onsite manufacturing environment; company headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia. Monday–Thursday, 5:45 a.m.–6:00 p.m. shifts.

What you will do

• Set up and operate coating machines across both wet and dry ends.
• Prepare adhesives, solvents, additives, liners, and other raw materials for production.
• Adjust pressure, tension, temperature, line speed, and other machine parameters to meet process specifications.
• Perform changeovers, cleaning, basic maintenance, equipment fine-tuning, and workstation housekeeping.
• Inspect products for defects, monitor quality, flag non-conformances, and report machine malfunctions.
• Train coater operators and assistants and communicate shift activities during handoffs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Fluent verbal and written English required.
• Basic math and reading skills, mechanical aptitude, and accurate use of measuring devices.
• Computer skills for production data entry; ERP knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, push or pull objects up to 250 pounds, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and operate in conditions involving dust, fumes, odors, chemical and mechanical hazards, and required PPE.
