Associate Director, GBS - Material Planning

What you will do

• Develop and oversee material planning strategies aligned with production demands and inventory targets.
• Lead demand planning and coordinate with sales, marketing, production, and supply chain stakeholders.
• Optimize ERP systems, inventory control, supply chain visibility, and material flow from suppliers to production.
• Manage inventory levels, reduce obsolescence, improve inventory turns, and lower operational costs.
• Build vendor relationships, negotiate terms, and manage supplier performance.
• Lead and mentor planning professionals while contributing to the strategic direction of supply chain management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• More than 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, material planning, or logistics, including leadership experience.
• Expertise in demand planning, ERP systems, inventory management, and logistics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Availability to work from the local office in Mexico City is required.
