Supply Chain Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop and manage supply chain strategies to ensure timely delivery of materials for production and customers.
• Monitor inventory levels and stock movements, maintaining optimal inventory without excess or shortages.
• Manage suppliers and vendors, including evaluation, contract negotiation, and delivery of quality materials.
• Coordinate with production teams to align material availability with production schedules and resolve supply or quality issues.
• Analyze and improve supply chain processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports on inventory, suppliers, and costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6+ years of supply chain management experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role within a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and procurement processes.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
• Ability to apply strategic thinking and ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or certification such as APICS or CSCP.
