Manager, Customs & Global Event Freight (Logistics)

What you will do

• Own global transportation operations end to end, ensuring on-time and cost-efficient delivery of event-related shipments.
• Lead and mentor logistics coordinators across multiple time zones, assigning work and strategic projects.
• Coordinate transportation requirements with production, finance, legal, tax, and external transport partners.
• Define and monitor KPIs and SLAs covering delivery performance, cost variances, ticket response times, billing, and invoicing.
• Manage 3PL and freight-forwarder relationships, including contract and pricing negotiations.
• Improve logistics processes through forecasting, training, capacity planning, and cost optimization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in transportation or logistics.
• 3+ years of experience managing a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English is required.
• Experience negotiating contracts and pricing with carriers, 3PLs, or freight forwarders.
• Experience with ERP systems, Excel or Google Sheets, data visualization, KPI tracking, analytical problem-solving, and cross-functional communication.

• Experience in live-event transportation.
• Experience with temporary importations.
