Global Events Logistics Manager (Transportation)

Location: Mexico City, with possible travel across hirify.global’s markets.

What you will do

• Own global transportation operations end to end, ensuring shipments are delivered on time and cost-efficiently.
• Lead and mentor logistics coordinators across multiple time zones, assign work, and resolve escalated roadblocks.
• Coordinate transportation requirements with production, finance, legal, tax, and external logistics partners.
• Define and monitor KPIs and SLAs covering delivery performance, cost variance, ticket response times, and service quality.
• Manage relationships and negotiate contracts and pricing with 3PLs, carriers, and freight forwarders.
• Oversee billing and invoicing, forecast operational needs, develop training programs, and improve logistics processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in transportation or logistics.
• 3+ years of experience managing a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English is required.
• Experience negotiating contracts and pricing with carriers, 3PLs, or freight forwarders.
• Experience with ERP systems, Excel or Google Sheets, data visualization, KPI tracking, analytical problem-solving, and cross-cultural communication.

• Experience in live-event industry transportation.
• Experience with temporary importations.
• Additional language skills.
