Facilities Technician II, Maintenance (PLC/HVAC)

Location: Gilbert, Arizona, United States. On-site role with physical work throughout the warehouse, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs and ladders, and using scissor or bucket lifts.

What you will do

• Perform corrective, preventive, planned, and predictive maintenance on conveyors, shelving, racking, powered industrial trucks, HVAC systems, air compressors, water filtration, and other building equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air compression, HVAC, and PLC-related issues.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, emergencies, and production interruptions while coordinating repairs with production personnel to minimize downtime.
• Perform building repairs, including painting, sheetrock, doors, dock plates, plumbing, and general tenant improvements.
• Complete calibration and testing procedures, maintain work orders and safety documentation in CMMS software, and track parts, time, and repairs.
• Identify safety risks and improvement opportunities, support fabrication and continuous improvement projects, and maintain compliance with lockout/tagout and 5S practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required, with 3+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related field; 5+ years of manufacturing or relevant equipment maintenance experience is also listed as preferred experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and operate advanced technical equipment independently.
• Knowledge and experience with PLC systems and CMMS systems; familiarity with Maintenance Connection is applicable.
• Formal training or certification in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air compression, PLC systems, or HVAC is required; advanced engineering or maintenance training is beneficial.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and project management tools, plus experience documenting preventive maintenance, technical data, and process-improvement inputs.
• Effective spoken and written English is required; bilingual Spanish is preferred. Ability to work safely for shifts of up to 12 hours and lift up to 50 pounds is required.
