Director, Global Process Owner– Record-to-Report (AI & Automation)

Location: United States

Salary: $145,600–$209,300 base pay per year, plus potential performance-based bonus and restricted stock unit awards.

What you will do

• Define the global Record-to-Report strategy, future-state operating model, governance structure, process standards, KPIs, and multi-year transformation roadmap.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives that improve financial close, productivity, compliance, controls, reporting, and employee experience.
• Identify and develop use cases for AI, intelligent automation, machine learning, workflow optimization, and process redesign.
• Align platforms including Microsoft Dynamics 365, BlackLine, Workiva, and AI-enabled solutions with Finance strategy and measurable business outcomes.
• Manage the transformation portfolio from business case development through implementation, adoption, and value realization.
• Build partnerships across Accounting, Finance, IT, Internal Audit, AI and Automation, executive leadership, and strategic technology vendors while developing a team of transformation professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Accounting, Finance Transformation, Enterprise Process Management, Digital Enablement, or related disciplines.
• Deep expertise in Record-to-Report, accounting operations, financial reporting, close management, and internal controls.
• Experience leading large-scale business process transformation and technology modernization in complex global organizations.
• Experience developing roadmaps and transformation strategies involving ERP, financial close, reporting, and governance technologies.
• Strong understanding of AI, automation, emerging digital technologies, executive stakeholder influence, strategic communication, and change leadership.

Nice to have

• CPA, MBA, or another advanced degree.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, BlackLine, Workiva, or comparable Finance technology platforms.
• Experience leading AI-enabled Finance transformation initiatives.
• Technology industry or SaaS experience and work in highly matrixed global organizations.
