Production Supervisor (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Albany, NY, USA; onsite production role

Salary: $66,600–$86,600 per year

What you will do

• Lead production shifts and ensure product, equipment, and processes meet quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
• Manage production schedules, throughput, shipping performance, staffing, waste reduction, and downtime reduction.
• Identify operational issues, assign corrective actions, escalate when needed, and coordinate solutions across departments and shifts.
• Coach, onboard, train, and develop associates while promoting engagement, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor product quality and coordinate formula or process adjustments to keep production within specification.
• Use tablets and applications including SOMAX, Rever, Shift Guides, and Intelex to support operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in production, preferably in food processing or a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, organization, planning, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read English, follow written procedures, work off ground level with appropriate safety equipment, and work in a non-air-conditioned environment.
