Quality Assurance Supervisor

Location: USA - CT - Bloomfield; onsite, full-time position

Salary: $69,400–$95,500 per year

What you will do

• Own the site Quality Management System and ensure conformance across production areas.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for site policies, risk assessments, operational controls, and FSMA preventive controls.
• Participate in the Food Safety Team, review and validate HACCP plans, and act as the SQF Practitioner and PCQI.
• Lead Environmental Monitoring, quality metrics, deviation investigations, consumer complaint investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Verify CCPs, preventive controls, quality checks, QC records, raw material documentation, holds, rework, and destruction processes.
• Manage QA staffing, schedules, training, performance development, audits, and collaboration with Operations, Sanitation, Maintenance, and R&D.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in a quality-related field and manufacturing supervision.
• Experience with SAP, specification and data management tools, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong technical writing, documentation, data analysis, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to spend at least 50% of working time on the production floor and support second-shift operations from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• PCQI certification and HACCP or SQF Practitioner experience.
