Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Reading, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite production-floor role

What you will do

• Supervise assigned production shifts and ensure safety, quality, throughput, housekeeping, and food-safety standards are met.
• Review production schedules, assign team members, verify production jobs in Oracle and plant management systems, and complete shift reports.
• Hire, train, coach, evaluate, and manage team members in partnership with Human Resources and production leadership.
• Inspect raw materials, perform first-pass quality checks after changeovers, and coordinate with Maintenance to resolve line downtime.
• Lead daily safety, quality, and production meetings, weekly safety training, and hourly safety walks.
• Improve production methods, equipment performance, efficiency, and product quality while meeting customer deadlines.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience in manufacturing or a similar field.
• At least four years of experience in the position or a comparable role.
• At least four years of experience managing people or projects.
• Understanding of production processes and controls.
• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour day or night shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule or as production demands.

Nice to have

• Six years of experience in manufacturing or a similar field.
• Six years of experience in the position and managing people or projects.
• Associate degree.
